I am a petroleum geologist with particular expertise in sedimentology and reservoir characterization. My core competency lies in reservoir quality evaluation, diagenesis, well correlation and facies analysis (thorough working knowledge of Petrel).
I have a substantial experience in conducting sedimentologic core descriptions and digitalization in WellCad. I have described many cores in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. I have extensive knowledge in APA licensing rounds in Norway with proven skills in screening the prospective areas in the North Sea, Barents Sea and Mid Norway regions.
I have participated in writing several successful APA applications for several oil companies in Norway.
Apart from the North Sea knowledge, I am also highly experienced in exploration, new ventures, identifying, screening and acquiring new exploration access opportunities in Iraqi kurdistan.
I have worked on several research and consultancy projects since 2003 in the field of reservoir geology and clastic diagenesis. I have published over 20 papers on the topic of clastic diagenesis and reservoir quality evolution in peer-review international journals.
I am also teaching several courses in reservoir and petroleum geology mainly for industry personnel (within AGR Petroleum Services Academy).
